•  U GASHEER EN GASVROU: Sarel en Elizabeth Venter is afgetrede mense en was onderskeidelik aan die plaaslike koerant, Volksblad, en die Vrystaatse Universiteit verbonde. Ons bied aan u gasvrye en billike oornagverblyf in ons huis by De Jagerstraat 30, Fichardtpark, Bloemfontein. Ons het vier slaapkamers beskikbaar en kan agt volwassenes en twee kleiner kinders huisves.
• ONS KAMERS: ‘n Ruim gesinskamer met eie badkamer is sonnig en gesellig en is toegerus met ‘n goeie matras op die dubbelbed, somer- of winterlakens, komberse en duvets van hoë gehalte, elektriese onderlakens, verwarmers (en waaiers, indien nodig), twee handdoeke vir elke gas, televisie (5 kanale), gemakstoele, geriewe om tee of koffie te maak (beskuit word verskaf), ‘n klein yskas, ‘n bababed en ‘n klein enkelbed (indien nodig). • Ons ander drie kamers (sien foto’s) is ook met die meeste van bogenoemde toegerus. In een kamer is ook ‘n dubbelbed (bababed of klein enkelbed ook beskikbaar), en in die ander twee kamers is elk twee gerieflike enkelbeddens. Twee badkamers met ‘n bad, twee storte, twee toilette en drie wasbakke is regoor hierdie drie kamers.
•  SITKAMER: Die sitkamer met TV (5 kanale) en ‘n klavier is ook tot gaste se beskikking en daar is heerlike kuierplek in die tuin (as die weer dit toelaat) en die binnehof waar vleis gebraai kan word.
•  ONTBYT: ‘n Keuse van drie ontbyte word aangebied.
•  PARKERING: Onderdak en veilig agter ‘n hoë staalhek.
• ANDER GERIEWE: Faks en internettoegang en was- en strykgeriewe is beskikbaar, indien nodig.
•  LIGGING: Ons woonbuurt is sowat 6 km van die middestad van Bloemfontein en ons huis is naby die N1-deurpad geleë en ook naby hospitale, groot winkelsentrums, die Bloem-Skou en ander toeriste-attraksies.
•  ONS STAD: Bloemfontein - die Sentrale Stad of Rosestad - bied aan die besoeker ook verskeie museums, flieks en teaters, die Naval Hill-natuurreservaat in die middel van die stad, ‘n verskeidenheid van sport, verskillende onderwysinstellings, die Mimosa Mall-winkelsentrum en die Waterfront, asook uitstekende mediese spesialiste en hospitale. Die Soetdoring-wildtuin met sy leeupark en die Maselspoort-vakansieoord, naby die stad, is besoeke werd.

•  YOUR HOST AND HOSTESS: Sarel and Elizabeth Venter are a retired couple who worked for the local daily newspaper, Volksblad, and the Free State University, respectively. We offer affordable and hospitable accommodation in our house at 30 De Jager Street, Fichardt Park, Bloemfontein. We have four bedrooms and can house eight grown-up guests and two kids.
• OUR BEDROOMS: Our spacious and sunny family room with en suite bathroom is furnished with a good mattrass on the double bed, summer or winter sheets, high quality blankets and a duvet, electric heating blankets, heater (and fan, if required), two towels for each guest, a TV (5 channels), coffee and tea facilities (with rusks), a small refrigerator, a cot or a small bed (Photos at bottom of page).
• Our three other rooms (see photos) have most of the above mentioned facilities. In one room is a double bed and cot or smaller bed and in both the other two rooms are two comfortable single beds. Opposite these three rooms are two bathrooms with a bath, two showers, three washing basins and two toilets.
•  SITTING ROOM: The sitting room with TV (5 channels) and a piano is available for use by guests, and there are other places for socializing such as the garden (weather permitting) and the barbeque area.
•  BREAKFAST: Three options.
•  PARKING: Save, sheltered parking - protected by a high steel gate.
•  OTHER FACILITIES: Fax and internet and laundry facilities available, if required.
• LOCATION: Our house is 6 km from the city centre, not far from the N1 motorway, and near hospitals, shopping centres, the Bloem Show grounds and other tourist attractions.
• OUR CITY: Bloemfontein - the Central City or City of Roses - has much to offer: several museums, theatres and movie theatres, the Naval Hill nature reserve in the centre of the city, a number of educational institutions, and excellent medical care and specialist medical services. The Soetdoring Game Reserve with its lion park and the Maselspoort holiday resort are also worth a visit.
